Release Notes | July 2026

What's New in SmartPath Engage

This update includes two improvements to SmartPath Engage:

New Package Scope Agreement

  • As part of your automated eSignature flow, clients now see an additional Scope Agreement document outlining what's included and what's not included for every service in the package they selected.

  • Clients eSign and date this agreement, so there's no confusion around the scope they're agreeing to.

  • This launch includes default scope language crafted from best practices across 2,000+ firms. Full customization of the Scope Language is coming in a future release.

  • This rollout is available to all SmartPath plans.

What this means for your firm:

  • Clients have clear, documented visibility into exactly what their engagement covers before they begin onboarding.

  • Fewer scope-related questions and disputes down the line, since the agreement is signed and dated.

  • No manual setup required to start using the default scope language.

How to use it:

✅ Navigate to Setup → Document Template Settings.

✅ Toggle the Scope Agreement on or off for your eSignature flow.

✅ Default scope language applies automatically once toggled on; no further setup needed.

Redesigned Client Roadmap PDF

  • The Client Roadmap PDF has been completely redesigned with a modern look and feel.

  • The new design aligns visually with the existing Client Roadmap Link.

  • This update makes the Roadmap easier to read and print.

What this means for your firm:

  • Clients get a cleaner, more professional document when reviewing their pricing options.

  • A more consistent branded experience between the Roadmap Link and the Roadmap PDF.

How to use it:

✅ No action needed. The new design is automatically applied to all Roadmap PDFs going forward.

Various Bug Fixes and Enhancements

  • Solved an issue with some custom package features being duplicated.

  • Solved an issue with the Client Onboarding Dashboard not displaying in some edge cases.

  • Solved an issue where firms were limited to adding two users. You can now add up to 15 users ($40/mo per additional user above the first two).
